# Navigation
CrownCAD is a cloud-based 3D CAD collaborative design platform. Simply open your browser, visit www.crowncad.com, and register/log in to start designing online. Supports private cloud, public cloud and hybrid cloud deployments.
- Log in to CrownCAD and access the Project Management Interface, which provides:
- Create Command Menu,
- Document List Window,
- Project Management Panel.
- The left-side Project Management Panel includes:
- My Project: All projects you manage.
- Shared with Me: Projects shared by other users.
- Public: All projects set to public within the current network segment (can be copied to [My Project]).
- Trash: Contains all deleted projects (restoration supported).
Create New Project is the first step for part documentation. Within projects, you can create: Part, Assembly, Drawing, Folder.
Data Conversion supports import/export of STEP, IGES and mainstream CAD formats. Upload documents inside/outside projects per prompts.
Version Control maintains complete operation history with:
- Node Creation,
- Branching：Enabling design changes and version management.
- Collaborative Design & Review:
Share models directly with Users, Teams, Activities or via Links
Supports multi-user concurrent viewing/editing of same model
Provides annotation capabilities for efficient collaboration and design review.
