Geometric Tolerance

---

Used to generate form and position tolerance notes.

The generation steps are as follows:

1. Click the form and position tolerance command to pop up the form and position tolerance dialog box.

2. Set the shape and position tolerance symbol content and style in the shape and position tolerance dialog box

• Display Edit window: Checking this will display the "symbol" panel, which is used to set the content of the shape and position tolerance symbol. When the content setting is complete, you can uncheck this item to facilitate the selection of the placement of the mark

  • Symbol Panel - Up/Down Text: Enter the text and the entered text will appear above/below the symbol
  • Symbol Panel - Type: Select the shape and position tolerance symbol, the other input fields of the line will be input only after selecting the symbol
  • Symbol Panel - Tolerance/Tolerance 2/ Datum 1/ Datum 2/ Datum 3:Used to enter what you want
  • Symbol panel - Caret: Provides commonly used symbols. When the input cursor is in the input field of the symbol panel, click any symbol to fill the symbol to the current cursor.

• Angle: Enter the Angle value

• Font: Set the font of the annotation

• Lead: Sets the marked lead

• Color: Sets the color of the annotation

• Layer: Set the labeled layer.

3. Move the mouse over the viewport to appear the shape and position tolerance symbol preview. Left click twice, the first time to determine the position of the shape and position tolerance pointing, the second time to determine the position of the shape and position tolerance symbol.

Merge with dimensioning

  Form and position tolerances can be adsorbed on the dimensioning and merged with the dimensioning.

Create form and position tolerances for merge styles：

1） Create dimensioning.

2） To create the form and position tolerance dimensions, place the mouse over the dimension value and click the left mouse button when the dimension annotations are highlighted.

3） Generate the form and position tolerances that merge with the dimensioning.

Merge the form and position tolerances：

1） Create dimensioning.

2） Drag the shape and position tolerance onto the dimensioning and release the mouse when the dimensioning is highlighted.

3） Complete the merge.

To cancel the merge：

1） Select the form and position tolerance for which you want to cancel the merge.

2） Drag the point in the upper left corner of the shape and position tolerance to the empty space.

3） Cancel the merge.

Add guidelines automatically

  The tolerance of form and position is marked on the line. Drag the point control mark at the arrow outward along the line. When the arrow exceeds the line, the guide extension line is automatically added.

Automatically capture horizontal and vertical

  Create or edit the shape and position tolerance mark position to capture when the lead is close to perpendicular to the mark element.
