# A list of instances
The instance list is used to display all instances in the current assembly document, as shown in the following figure:
Note
The red marked area in the figure above shows the total number of top-level instances in the list, excluding instances under subassemblies.
Highlight function: When the mouse is placed on an instance, the instance and all its sub-instances are highlighted correspondingly in the viewport, and the highlighting is canceled when the mouse leaves, as shown in the following figure:
# Right-click function
Right-click on the top-level instance and its function list is as shown below.
Jump: Jump to the selected instance document.
Uninstall: Uninstall the selected instance and its sub-instances.
Transparent/Opaque: Sets the display of the selected instance and its sub-instances to be transparent or opaque.
Hide/Show: Hide or show the selected instance or subassembly, and the hidden components are grayed out in the list.
Fixed/Moveable: The selected part or subassembly can be fixed in the viewport position. After setting the fixed, the component will not be able to move. The Moveable option is Unfixed. The fixed symbol is displayed after the fixed component name.
Delete: Deletes the selected instance in the list and is also deleted in the viewport.
Hide Other Instances: Hides all but the selected instance (including its child instances).
Hide All Instances: Hides all instances in the current assembly document.
Focus: The selected instance is magnified and displayed in the middle of the viewport.
Show/Hide Sketches: Shows or hides all sketches under this instance.
Show/Hide Guidelines: Shows or hides all guidelines under this instance.
Show/Hide Planes: Shows or hides all planes under this instance.
Show All Instances: Shows all hidden instances in the current document.
Note:
- If the instance's sketches, baselines, and planes are hidden in the instance document, they cannot be displayed in the assembly.
- Components outside the inserted project do not have a jump function.
- The right-click functions of sub-components of sub-assemblies are only: jump, transparency .
