# Flatten Route

This feature allows for the flattening of cable and its connected components onto a plane, straightening the lines.

How to use:

  1. Select Objects:Choose the circuits you want to flatten.

  2. Set Flattening Type:Select the type of flattening operation you wish to perform.

  3. Pick Main Line Segment:Select a segment of the circuit; this will act as the "main line." All other lines will branch off from this main segment during flattening.

  4. Pick Flattening Center:Choose the center point for the flattened circuit, ensuring that it aligns with the origin after flattening.

  5. Configure Flattening Options:Set detailed parameters to control aspects of the flattening process.

  6. Confirm and Complete:Click "OK" to finalize the flattening operation.

Notes:

  • The flattening command is disabled when in circuit editing mode or if a flattened line has already been activated.

  • Steps 1 and 2 are mandatory, while the remaining steps are optional unless specified otherwise.

  • When choosing the center point for flattening, it must be at one of the endpoints of the previously selected segment; arbitrary points cannot be used.

  • Other commands will become unavailable during the editing of a flattened line to prevent conflicts or unintended changes.
