# Batch Modify Attributes


For batch editing of model attributes, such as modification, addition, or deletion operations. When dealing with a large number of components that require attribute settings based on specific rules, this functionality can free you from tedious repetitive tasks and significantly improve work efficiency.

  • Click the "Batch Modify Attributes" icon to enter the batch modify attributes dialog box, where the document list displays all components in the current document.

  • Click on hierarchy filtering, select the hierarchy type, and filter the document list based on hierarchy.

  • Click the "Add Files" option to add other components by selecting the appropriate addition method.

  • Click the "Display Items" drop-down menu for display/hide settings of items displayed in the document list.

  • Quickly filter files by checking corresponding file types to make them visible/invisible in the list.

  • Filter attributes by selecting attribute name and content, then apply filtering based on the property criteria to the document list.

  • Rename attributes by modifying the attribute names. Select original attribute names from drop-down menus, input new attribute names, and set the scope of attribute handling through click selection.

  • Change attribute values by modifying their contents. Enter original and new attribute values and define the scope of attribute handling via point selection.

  • Replace characters in attribute values by selecting cells, entering original and new strings, then setting the scope of attribute handling through click selection.

  • Transfer attributes to branches by copying them. Click cells, enter attribute names, and use check boxes to choose processing methods, movement directions, and scopes.

  • Add attributes batch-wise by entering attribute names and values in tables for parts/components, and set the scope of handling via click selection.

  • Delete attributes by removing specified properties from components/batch operations. Click cells to input attribute names and define deletion scope using check box selections.
