# Assembly Structure Editing

Support adjusting the component hierarchy and order within an assembly.

How to use：

Method1：“Assembly Structure Editing”Command

  1. Open the "Edit Assembly Structure" command.

  2. Select the "component to be moved."

  3. Select the "target assembly."

  4. Click OK to successfully move the selected component into the target assembly.

Method2：Adjust structure of instance tree

How to use:

1） Open the assembly.

2） Drag and drop the part instance while holding down the left mouse button in the feature panel.

3） Release the left button where you want to place it to complete the drag and drop.

Note:

  • Supports reordering instances within the same level of a single assembly, with the reordering affecting the sequence in the assembly's bill of materials .

  • Supports moving components from a higher-level sub-assembly to a lower-level sub-assembly, or vice versa, to adjust the hierarchical structure of the components.
