# Lofted Surface

With or without guide lines, surface features are generated between two or more profiles

Instructions for use:

Click to enter the loft surface command, and its interface is displayed as follows.

The functions of each control are as follows:

  1. Outlines: Can be curves, edges, sketches, polygons, and so on.

Note:

The outline must be curved continuously, such as a rectangle, and need to be rounded before it can be lofted.

  1. Starting constraints: Position, tangent, tangent only available if the outline is an edge of a polygon.

  2. Termination Constraint: Position, tangent, tangent only available if the outline is an edge of a polygon.

  3. Guide line: One or more sketches, splines, etc., the guide line and outline must intersect, controlling the shape of the loft.

Note:The lofted profile cannot be in the same plane as the leader line.

Example: The lofted outline is a sketch and a projection curve, as shown in the following image.
