Offset Surface

An existing surface is offset at a set distance to create a new surface.

Instructions for use

Click to enter the offset surface command interface, as shown in the picture below.

The meanings of each control are as follows:

1. Surface: Select one or more faces that you want to offset.

2. Offset distance: The distance by which the input surface is offset, plus or minus determines the direction of the offset.

Note：

Input distance can be 0, in this case, it is the copy surface

Note：Offset surfaces cannot be generated if the offset effect will be self-intersecting.

Example: Select the surface to be offset and preview the effect as shown in the image below.

Click 'OK' button to complete this operation. 'Cancel' Then exit this operation.
