# Chamfer

Between two non-parallel sketch lines, create a right angle by defining parameters.

# Drawing Steps

  1. Click to launch the Chamfer command.

  1. Chamfer type: Distance-Distance Chamfer, Angle-Distance Chamfer.

  2. Option:Equal distance. Different chamfer values can be set when unchecked.

  3. Parameters:distance, angle, etc., depending on the type of chamfer.

  4. Chamfer element:Select the two sketch lines or intersection points to be chamfered, and support box selection of intersection points.

# Distance-Distance Chamfer

Creates a chamfer by defining the distance of the chamfer.

  • Select distance/distance chamfer .

  • Optional:Tick Equal Distance, then enter a distance in the parameter. If unchecked, enter distance 1 and distance 2 in the parameters.

  • Parameter:The default chamfer distance is 10. Distance ≤ the size of the line to be chamfered.

  • Preview effect:The chamfered lines picked up in the viewport are highlighted, resulting in a preview line for the chamfer, and the two picked chamfered sketch lines are displayed in the list.

  • Special case:If the chamfer value is equal to the chamfer value, the chamfer effect creates a reference line for the original chamfer.

  • When the element pickup is completed, which can support the creation of the command, the right mouse button displays the confirmation identifier, as follows:

  • You can confirm the creation by clicking the right button, equivalent to creating or confirming the button, you can create the generated chamfer, click cancel to exit the chamfer.

# Angle-Distance Chamfer

Between two lines that are not parallel, right angles are created by defining distances and angles.

  • Select the distance/angle chamfer. .

  • Parameters:Distance, Angle. The default distance is 10 and the angle is 45°.

  • When elements are picked up to support the creation of the command, the right mouse button displays the confirmation identifier, as follows:
