# Chamfer
Between two unparallel sketch lines, create right angles by defining parameters.
# Drawing Steps
1.Click to launch the chamfer command.
2.Type of chamfer: Distance/distance chamfer, distance/Angle chamfer.
3.Options: Equal distance. Different chamfering values can be set when unchecked.
4.Parameters: Distance, Angle, etc., depending on the type of chamfer.
5.Chamfering element: Select the two sketch lines to be chamfered.
# Distance-Distance Chamfer
Create a chamfer by defining the distance of the chamfer.
1.Select distance/distance chamfer.
2.Options: If Equal distance is checked, the distance is entered in the parameter. If not checked, then enter distance 1, distance 2 in the parameters.
3.Parameters: The default chamfer distance is 10. Distance ≤ the size of the line to be chamfered.
4.Preview effect: The line to be chamfered picked up in the viewport is highlighted to generate a preview line of chamfering, while the two sketch lines to be chamfered picked up are displayed in the list.
5.Special case: If the line to be chamfered is equal to the chamfering value, the chamfering effect is to create a reference line of the original chamfering line.
6.Click Create to generate the chamfer, and click Cancel to exit the chamfer.
# Distance/Angle Chamfer
Create right angles between two unparallel lines by defining the distance and Angle.
1.Select the distance/Angle chamfer.
2.Parameters: Distance, Angle. The default distance is 10 and the Angle is 45°.
3.Preview effect: The line to be chamfered picked up in the viewport is highlighted to generate a preview line of chamfering, while the two sketch lines to be chamfered picked up are displayed in the list.
4.Special case: If the line to be chamfered is equal to the chamfering value, the chamfering effect is to create a reference line of the original chamfering line.
5.Click Create to generate the chamfer, and click Cancel to exit the chamfer.
