Surface Cut

Solids are cut by using surfaces or planes.

Instructions for use:

Click to enter the cutting command, the interface is as shown in the following figure.

The meaning of each control is as follows:

1. Entities to split： Select an entity to be cut.

2. Split tool： Select the surface or plane to use to cut the solid.

Note：

The Split tool needs to be fully intersected and larger than the entity.

3. Reverse： When checked, the opposite entity part is removed.

Example： Select the entity to be split, the split tool, and the preview effect is shown in the following figure.

Click the OK button to complete the operation. After confirmation, the creation effect is shown in the following figure.
