# Electrical Harness Library

  1. Click the "Cable Library" command to open the "Cable Library" dialog, which is used for editing and managing cables.

  2. The cable types supported include:

  • Wire: A single conductor wire.

  • Cable: A cable contains multiple cores (individual wires). All cores in a single cable share the same start and end components. Each core can be assigned to connect to specific pins of the component. Pin assignment is optional.

  1. Modifying cable information in the Cable Library does not affect already generated routes.

Electrical Harness Type Optional: Wires, Cables (Default)
Search Electrical Harness The input text searches for Electrical Harness containing text information. The search should include name, specifications, etc., covering all relevant details.
Electrical Harness Information Table This section is used to display and configure the specific Electrical Harness Library information of the current Electrical Harness Library. The last row's name remains in an editable state; typing automatically creates a new line. Parameters for the newly added line match those of the previous row.A right-click on any row allows deletion.Double-clicking a cell allows content modification. For cable types, selecting cables from the upper section displays the included conductors below. Rows can be added or removed using the lower conductor table.Specific modifiable details are documented in the Electrical Harness Property Information Table.
Add Clicking adds a new row. By default, it mirrors the last line's information with an automatically appended suffix. The newly created row enters name-edit mode immediately.
Delete The delete function becomes available when at least one row is selected. A confirmation prompt appears before deletion.
Import Clicking invokes an "Import" dialog box to select and import a single Electrical Harness library table.
Export Clicking invokes an "Export" dialog box to export the current Electrical Harness library table.
