# Rip

Used to create slot-like incision features on sheet metal or extractor entities.

Click the button to bring up the notch dialog box.

Control description:

Select Sketch/Borderline: Select the sketch/borderline that you want to generate the cut.

When selecting the sketch, the sketch should be located on the solid surface where the cut is to be generated.
When selecting the edge line, the edge line should be the side line of the extracted shell entity.
The sketch/edge line should be a straight line.

Slit: Set the slit width of the cut
Notch orientation: Select the notch in relation to the selected sketch/edge line. Schematic yellow lines for the selected sketch.
