# Lofted Boss/Base

Transitioning between two or more profiles generates solid features.

Click on the toolbar to open the Scan Boss/Base command dialog box, the interface of which is shown in the following figure.

1.Sketch outline：Closed sketch outline, can be selected.

Note：

Can only be a sketch outline with an enclosed area.

Start Constraint: None、Vertical To Sektch、Direction Vector.
Termination Constraint: None、Vertical To Sektch、Direction Vector.

Note：

Under the loft preview effect, each profile will have a control punctuation point, and the lofting effect is adjusted by adjusting the control punctuation point.

Guide line: Through the guide line control lofting external outline, you can choose sketch line, edge line or curve, support multiple selection.
Merge results: Check this option when the scanning body is merged with its intersecting body.

Example： Lofting outline for two circular sketches, unguided line and guided line preview effect as shown in the figure below.
